I worked as a Full Stack Blockchain Developer at Yield Magnet, a DeFi platform created by a group of friends from Australia. My role spanned the entire technology stack, including frontend, backend, and data pipeline development.
I developed and deployed smart contracts, including staking and ERC20 contracts, which were crucial to the platform's functionality. Additionally, I resolved user issues promptly to ensure a smooth and reliable experience.
I initially joined Yield Magnet on a contract basis and later transitioned to a full-time role. Throughout my tenure, I contributed to the platform's growth and success by delivering scalable and innovative DeFi solutions.

I began job hunting well before my final exams and successfully secured a position as a Python Developer. On my first day, I was asked if I wanted to explore Web3 and blockchain technologies. Without hesitation, I said yes! This decision opened the door to a fascinating new domain and expanded my skill set beyond traditional development.
During my training period, there wasn’t much work initially, but I took that time to learn and grow. As time went on, I delved into a wide range of technologies, including: Ethereum, Solidity, Tokens, DeFi, NFTs, IPFS, Docker, NGINX, and more. Before I knew it, I had developed enough expertise to lead a team of three people. This experience not only expanded my technical skills but also helped me grow as a team leader.
PS: It was a service-based company, which meant I got to work with new clients, new ideas, and experiment with new technologies every single day.
College dreams are always big, and mine was to become a data scientist. It was during this time that I started learning Python.
My first project was built using Python's Flask framework and MySQL database. The goal was to allow users to generate custom PC configurations by specifying their requirements.
This wasn't just any project—it was our final year project. In our diploma program, students had two options for their final year:
Take an internship: Pay fees, learn some code, and create a project with guidance.
Do it ourselves: Learn, build, and deliver a project independently.
My friend and I chose the second option. We consumed countless YouTube tutorials, spent many sleepless nights learning, and built our project entirely on our own. We even handled the frontend development using Bootstrap and Jinja2.
The hard work paid off—we received great feedback from our faculty for our project. This experience not only taught me how to build a web application but also solidified my love for coding and problem-solving.
